Have you ever said, “If only they had listened to me, they wouldn’t have this problem?”
This statement and statements like it are circling the planet, holding it in the grip of fear and division.
Factions of all kinds insist that they are the only ones who are correct and are choosing as their primary goal—not the welfare of all—but the destruction of another’s way of doing things.
Joining in the fray and thinking or saying, “If they would only listen, we wouldn’t have this problem,” will never solve it.
Isn’t it obvious that this is making it worse?
What can you and I do about this?
We can begin correctly, not with the problem or "them,” but with us and what we think, do, and say.
Whether it appears to be a huge global problem or a tiny personal one, it is all the same. It’s about our own perception and how we practice, apply, and live that perception.
This is not airy-fairy, and as a client’s husband used to say, “Woo-woo.” It is proven and proveable.
It’s a science, and that science states that what we believe is what we see—that what we perceive to be reality magnifies. It’s not what we see that we will believe; it’s what we believe that we will see.
If we believe that there is division, that there is not enough, and that survival is the game's name, then we have begun with weakness and a lie.
We might think we will lose unless we become the strongest in greed, (which ultimately guarantees unhappiness).
The truth is that this ridiculous, selfish, and often cruel game is being played out in a very small arena. It is a tiny belief system in a universe based on love and abundance.
However, it is a loud belief system that intends to scare or charm us into joining the game, either as participants or observers.
It’s not much better, and maybe worse, than the Romans watching the butchery in the arenas.
It’s in our power to step away from this game, delve within, and rediscover that we don’t live in the worldview game any more than we live in a video game that we play.
It is a scientific fact that a divine intelligence “runs” the world. Since it is omnipresent, it must be either all good or all bad.
We know that it must be all good because each of us has proven more than once in our lives that love overcomes hate and fear.
If we are willing to give up our belief systems and step away from the game, the mist will lift, and we will see the divine force of Love in action, as it always has been.
We already know that our senses don’t tell the truth.
The earth looks flat, and it looks like the sun goes around it. Railway tracks merge in the distance, and it feels as if we are moving in a still car when another car starts to move beside it.
We know that just because our senses tell us we have human bodies, that there isn’t enough of anything, and that you and I are separate, that doesn’t prove a thing.
Life itself proves that good is omnipresent and not part of this game of illusion. Proof shows up in those moments when we let go of a belief and the situation changes.
The game is only a set of beliefs—beliefs about personalities, that world events are true, that there are such things as lost opportunities, that bad can take over, that we are unaware, and that when we are unaware, we suffer the consequences.
All these beliefs are false. There is only one divine intelligence directing and creating all there is, and it does so in perfect relationship and provision.
Let’s lift ourselves out of the material, lying sense of life and into the science of the divinity of the intelligent Mind, the Principle of Love.
Then, all our actions will be guided by that Principle, not the lies of greed and fear.
Step out of the arena, my friend. Rise above and delve within to the power of a good, infinite, and abundant Life.
This is the only way to completely dissolve the mess the world appears to be in. And it does not take time because it’s only a “…waking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more, it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” (William Shakespeare)
The outcome in your life and in the world is in your hands.
