Your Gifts Have Arrived
Imagine that the best gift you can imagine has arrived at your door.
But it comes with a condition.
You can only keep it if you have room for it. Not in the future—now.
Exclaiming with pleasure and delight, you search for a place to put it.
Opening drawers, closets, and boxes, you find that every space is crammed with stuff. You don’t even recognize some of what is there because it has been there for so long.
Your extraordinary gift has been waiting at the door, but seeing that you have no room, it begins to leave.
“Wait,” you plead, “Please wait; I’ll find room.”
“Do so,” the gift replies, “For I will return, and when I do, the condition remains the same; you must have room for me.”
Make Room Now
The gift of freedom, light, and love is at your door.
Do you hear it knocking? Are you ready to receive it?
It doesn’t always arrive in a package that we recognize.
If our thinking is filled with “other stuff,” there is no room for this gift.
Stuff like:
Fretting over what isn’t working.
Asking why we can’t, how come they can.
Why are we the only ones who have to do things we don’t want to do?
Replaying how we’ve been hurt, robbed, unloved, denied, forgotten.
Anger over the idea that the world is made up of crooks.
Believing that we’ll never get ahead.
Acting as if life is unfair.
When our mental home is full of junk, like our junk drawers, we surely won’t recognize a gift of pure love, light, and joy, no matter how it’s packaged.
Even if we get a glimmer of what is being given, when we are full of these untrue and unhappy thoughts, there is no place for the extraordinary gift to enter.
Here’s What We Can Do
We can prepare to claim the gift as ours.
We can weed out of our thinking all thoughts of doubt, fear, malice, hatred, revenge, criticism, superstition of any kind, anger, and anxiety.
We can dump the “junk drawer” and never fill it again.
Today, we can trust with all our hearts that the power of having a point of view that blesses and a state of mind of joy makes room for our gifts.
We can move all our thinking to what is “good, beautiful, and pure” and trust that this will also move our world.
Today, We Can Let Go
We can say, ‘I welcome in the gift of this Truth and receive the sweet awareness of Love’s presence with me.”
Today, we can weed out all those ugly, old, and useless thoughts, knowing that we are not required to keep them—no matter who spoke them or gave them to us —and if we do, we will have room for the tremendous gift waiting at our door.
We can take action on what can be done today, not just in our thoughts but also in our homes, businesses, and the world.
We can throw out what needs to be thrown out and share whatever we can.
We can make room, knowing that today is overflowing with blessings and that tomorrow belongs to the Infinite Good.
Today, We Can Practice
We can stop worrying and practice instead the faith and trust that brings awareness and knowing because we experience the Truth.
We can fill all our thoughts with gratitude, for gratitude does not take up space but flings open the doors of every heart and aligns us with the Light of Love.
Instead of wishing and dreaming about what could be, it sets us squarely in the middle of the awareness that abundance is here now.
Today, We Can Stop Clinging To The Past
Instead of clinging to the past, we can throw it away and stand solidly in the now, expecting constant, consistent good for everyone.
We can claim good for ourselves and our neighbors no matter how far away they may live or how they live.
We can affirm that Light and Love are impartial in their constant gifting.
We can be prepared to receive and use our gifts.
We can clean our physical and mental homes.
We can be willing and able to receive and share these gifts.
We can receive and add value to each gift because that is how gifts multiply.
Open the door. Your gifts are waiting.
Make room. Use them. Share them.
