As a group facilitator, instructor and speaker, I've had to learn some tough lessons about having good boundaries and creating sacred containers. It was trial and error for a long while, but eventually it became second nature. I cringe when attend an event led by someone who scatters the energy and attention of the group due to a lack of awareness around setting healthy boundaries around a shared experience. It's wonderful that you're shining a light on this issue.
